Liz is an experienced dispute resolution solicitor, advising clients across a wide range of commercial litigation and cross-border disputes, with particular expertise in dealing with complex disputes across the media, art and sports sectors.
She regularly advises clients on all aspects of media law, including defamation, privacy and reputation management issues arising in connection with print and online publications, television broadcasts and social media content. She also provides strategic pre-publication advice to media organisations and advises on news-gathering matters and media regulatory compliance.
Liz has represented clients in complex, high-value disputes, including multi-jurisdictional litigation and contractual conflicts, including in connection with high profile art and sports disputes. Her practice also covers brand-related issues, including contentious intellectual property and data protection matters.
She acts for a broad range of clients including individuals, corporates, artists, sports professionals, media organisations, publishers and agents.
Liz is recognised as a Next Generation Partner for ‘Media: Theatre, Publishing and Other Media’ and ‘Civil Liberties and Human Rights’ in Legal 500 and ranked for ‘Defamation / Reputation Management’ in Chambers & Partners.
