ASSOCIATE SOLICITOR 
1-4 YEAR PQE

Level is looking for an Associate Solicitor with 1 – 4 years’ PQE to join its team. The role will involve working across the firm’s sports, media, entertainment and technology law practice, with a particular focus on supporting the firm’s football legal team which continues to go from strength to strength.

The Role

We are looking for an Associate Solicitor (1 – 4 years’ PQE) to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on a range of high-profile, cutting-edge legal matters, including:

  • advising football agencies, players and clubs on a wide range of matters, from player contracts and transfers to commercial deals;
  • advising on the rules and regulations governing the football industry, from non-contentious regulatory advice to contentious matters and disciplinary investigations;
  • advising on a broader range of work within sport, including commercial, contentious, regulatory and disciplinary work; and
  • from time to time, advising clients in the firm’s other sectors, including media, music, film & TV and tech, across a range of commercial and contentious matters.

About You

We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive solicitor who:

  • is an English-qualified solicitor with 1 – 4 years’ PQE in commercial, contentious or regulatory work, preferably in sport, media or entertainment;
  • has a strong academic record – at least a 2:1 degree in law or a law conversion – and previously completed a training contract at a city, leading national or boutique law firm;
  • has a strong interest in (and preferably exposure to) the sports sector, and particularly in football;
  • possesses excellent drafting and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail; and
  • is a team player, with a positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
