ASSOCIATE SOLICITOR – SPORTS, MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY LAW

Level is seeking to recruit a UK qualified associate solicitor with 0-2 years post-qualification experience to join its team working in sports, media and technology law.
Our clients include elite athletes, sports governing bodies and event owners, production companies, content creators, rights holders and tech innovators. Our work is fast-paced, varied and high-profile.
The Role
We are looking for an Associate Solicitor (0-2 PQE) to join our team. This is an opportunity to work on a range of high-profile, cutting-edge legal matters, including:
- Advising sports governing bodies, clubs, sports marketing agencies, athletes and their agents on a range of commercial and contractual matters.
- Drafting and negotiating media rights and sponsorship agreements, licensing arrangements and other commercial rights agreements.
- Providing legal support on intellectual property (including trade mark registrations and portfolio management), data protection and digital technology matters.
- Assisting clients with dispute resolution, regulatory and disciplinary issues.
- Supporting senior lawyers on corporate transactions.
About You
We are seeking a commercially minded, proactive solicitor who:
- Has 0-2 years PQE in commercial, media or technology law (experience in sport is advantageous but not essential).
- Has a strong academic record – at least a 2:1 degree in law or a law conversion – and has completed a training contract at a city, leading national or boutique law firm.
- Has a strong interest in the sport, media and technology sectors.
Possesses excellent drafting and negotiation skills with meticulous attention to detail. - Is a team player, with a positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
