The legal sector is at significant risk of cybercrime, cyber attacks and scams and the number and frequency of attacks is on the increase. This includes the use of fake websites, sometimes simply to cause confusion, but more often to extract money from law firms’ clients.
At Level, we take these risks very seriously. We continuously monitor for such activity and will respond quickly to minimise exposure or risk to our clients. However, if you do receive an email purporting to be from someone at Level which seeks to direct payment to a different account, then it is unlikely to be genuine.
