Train with us

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS.

If you are interested in training to be a solicitor with Level, you may now apply for our next intake using the online form. The application window will close on the 21st of February 2025.

A training contract at Level offers aspiring lawyers the chance to embark on a legal career in the areas they are truly passionate about and undertake a broad range of high-profile work across the sports, media, entertainment, and technology sectors.

A trainee at Level can expect more client contact and direct partner training than would be the case in a firm with a traditional hierarchical structure. You will be based in our office in the heart of Soho, London, a vibrant and exciting environment for young lawyers.

A QUICK OVERVIEW

START DATES

We understand that while many applicants will be aiming to start a training contract as soon as possible following the academic year, for some, applying and starting a training contract the year of graduating may not be appealing or even possible. You may want to go travelling, take a break, or have decided to make a move into law from another career. We don't want to exclude anyone from our process just because the dates don't line up.

With that in mind, our next Training Contract start date can be any time from September 2025 to September 2027, depending on the successful applicant's circumstances.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Candidates should have a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree to be considered. If you have not achieved this, or are not likely to, please note any mitigating factors on your application form.
  • Innovative, interesting people focused on building a career in our four core areas of media, entertainment, technology or sport.
  • We welcome people with non-academic passions and look for diverse interests or life experiences.
  • Background, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, religious beliefs and age are all irrelevant to our application process.

Do you accept time to count?

The Level Training Contract is 2 years in length from the point you pass the SQE1 exam. As a general rule, we do not allow trainees to take time to count in order to shorten their training contracts.
