Level advises on Yan Diomande’s landmark move to Real Madrid
Level has advised Roc Nation on Yan Diomande’s transfer to Real Madrid, with the 19-year-old becoming the club’s record signing.
The move marks the latest milestone in Diomande’s rapid rise. Less than two years ago, at just 17, he returned to the Ivory Coast after facing rejection following trials at several European clubs and starring in the semi-professional United Premier Soccer League in the US.
Leganés brought Diomande to Spain in November 2024, before a season at RB Leipzig and his subsequent move to the Bernabéu.
Level’s Dan Lowen, Jonathan Hyman and Finley Davis advised Roc Nation on the deal, working alongside Bichara e Motta Advogados.
Dan Lowen commented: “Congratulations to the outstanding team at Roc Nation for driving this extraordinary transfer. It has been a genuine privilege to advise on this deal and to have played a small part in helping Yan take this massive step in his career.”
The deal follows Level’s work in July on Morgan Rogers’ record transfer from Aston Villa to Chelsea and means the team has advised on two £100m-plus football transfers in the space of a few weeks.
