Level advises FIFA on historic broadcast deal for 2027 and 2031 editions of FIFA Women’s World Cup™
The team at Level, led by renowned sports media rights specialist Morris Bentata, advised FIFA on its historic agreement with Netflix for the media rights for the USA to the next two editions of the FIFA Women’s World Cups™.
Morris commented on Level’s involvement: “It was an absolute privilege to be involved in this groundbreaking deal. The agreement was negotiated within extremely tight timeframes and its successful completion was testament to the hard work, professionalism and excellent co-operation of all those involved on both sides of the deal”.
About the deal, FIFA President Gianni Infantino commented: “This is a landmark moment for sports media rights. This agreement sends a strong message about the real value of the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the global women’s game. FIFA and Netflix partnering together makes this a truly historic day for broadcasting and for women’s football."
The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, which will take place in Brazil from 24 June to 25 July 2027, will see the 32 best national teams from around the globe compete for glory. The host nation(s) of the 2031 FIFA Women’s World Cup™ will be decided in due course.
