Tony advises clients active in the Media and Entertainment sectors, particularly the Film, TV & Music industries.
Tony has many years’ experience of advising on a broad range of transactional and contentious matters with particular emphasis on contractual, commercial and intellectual property matters. His principal focus is with clients who develop, finance, produce and distribute films and other audio-visual content, record companies, music publishers, composers and musicians, screenwriters and other authors, creatives and influencers.

For the last 25 years, Tony has taught the legal aspects of audio-visual production at universities and film schools around Europe. He is currently a guest lecturer at the National Film & Television School (Beaconsfield), at the University of Portsmouth and for the Raindance Organisation.
Tony is a keen proponent of Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is an accredited mediator and a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Independent Film & Television Alliance.
Tony joined Level from Swan Turton where he was a consultant. Prior to that he spent twenty-two years at Marriott Harrison (fourteen as managing partner) following a six year stint at Cameron Markby Hewitt (now part of CMS).
