Rochelle Winn

Rochelle is a media and entertainment lawyer with over 15 years of experience in music, film and television. Her practice focuses on the financing, development, production and distribution of both scripted and unscripted audio-visual content, with a specialist focus on the creation and exploitation of long-form music-related films and programming.

Previously, she held the position of Head of Legal at Eagle Rock Entertainment, now Mercury Studios (the audio-visual division of Universal Music), where she led a team of lawyers and paralegals overseeing the production, acquisition and global distribution of premium audio-visual music content, including concert films, documentaries and original music programming.

As a private practice lawyer, Rochelle works closely with directors, producers, artists and record labels to structure and negotiate deals for long-form and short-form audio-visual content across traditional formats and modern platforms.

Outside of Level, Rochelle also acts as a business affairs consultant for a leading and internationally recognised artist management company supporting the company across all aspects of traditional music & artist activities, including artist management, production, live & touring, merchandise and branding opportunities.

Her clients value her ability to balance legal rigour with commercial pragmatism, and her extensive knowledge of the music and film & TV industry, along with her commercial in-house experience gives her a strong understanding of how to align legal advice with business goals.
