Jonny Harris is an experienced communications advisor specialising in litigation communications, reputation management, crisis response, and strategic media engagement. A qualified solicitor, accredited mediator, and former press regulator, he brings a rare understanding of how legal risk, media narratives, and public perception intersect.

Jonny works with clients who find themselves suddenly at the centre of attention. These moments are stressful and fast-moving, demanding straight-forward advice, emotional support, and discretion. Working closely with clients, often alongside their legal and in-house teams, he delivers coordinated external and internal communications that protect reputation, maintain trust, and allow business-as-usual to resume quickly while remaining fully aligned with legal strategy.

He advises both individuals and organisations, including high-profile individuals, high-net-worths, regulated professionals, public servants, campaigners, agencies, charities, schools, universities, and companies facing public or regulatory scrutiny.

He has advised on civil and criminal litigation, internal investigations, regulatory proceedings, workplace and governance disputes, and safeguarding matters. His experience spans both crisis response and proactive campaigns, including launching major class actions and leading stakeholder engagement programmes. He works closely with journalists and media outlets to ensure fair, accurate, and responsible coverage during sensitive or high-profile matters and is frequently called upon to act as a press office at short notice, managing immediate media demands for clients under pressure.

As part of Level’s integrated Reputation Management team, Jonny works under one roof with specialist lawyers to align reputational, commercial, and legal strategies seamlessly. By embedding crisis communications into the legal process, he helps clients stay on the front foot, ensuring consistent messaging across courts, regulators, media, and internal audiences during their most critical moments.

Jonny is the Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Next Generation Media Lawyers and sits on the Steering Committee of the London Jewish Legal Network.
