Level helps Victoria Ohuruogu to successfully contest and clear rare anti-doping violation charges
Level's Alastair Campbell was recently involved in a rare anti-doping rule violation (ADRV) charge against professional athlete, Victoria Ohuruogu.
Alastair described the charges against Ms Ohuruogu to have been 'entirely unprecedented'.
Working alongside Level reputation management specialist, Rachael Somerset, and barristers Pippa Manby and Carola Binney of 4 New Square chambers, Alastair and the team successfully contested the charges against Ms Ohuruogu. The National Anti-Doping Panel found there to have been no violation, fully vindicating the defendant and leaving her free to compete in the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.
In a statement following the judgement, Alastair expressed his congratulations to Victoria on her complete exoneration, as Ms Ohurugu publicly voiced the toll of the allegations against her and subsequent investigation, describing the process to have 'cost her a great deal'.
Level congratulates Victoria and we wish her the best of luck in Paris this summer.
