Associate Lawyer (Commercial)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2 - 4 year PQE commercial solicitor to join Level working with sport, media and entertainment clients.

We’re looking for a driven, innovative lawyer with a sharp legal mind. The role will be varied and will involve working directly with partners across the firm’s sectors, advising the firm’s stellar client list on a range of commercial, IP, tech, regulatory and contentious issues.

The candidate will have strong experience in commercial legal matters in our sectors be open to working across all of the firm’s practice areas and developing new skills each day. The work will be varied, engaging, challenging and involve a variety of high-profile matters for (amongst others) governing bodies, rightsholders, agencies and talent, many of whom are household names.

Exceptional drafting and technical skills, strong legal knowhow, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate effectively are prerequisites. The candidate should have an excellent academic background and strong private practice experience. The confidence to handle a diverse and demanding workload whilst contributing to marketing and business development initiatives is also important.

Previous experience in the sports, media or entertainment industries would be helpful, particularly in the sports media space, however we also welcome candidates with a background in media/entertainment work who are looking to gain experience in sport.
