Level welcomes Media and Entertainment specialist Rochelle Winn to the firm
We are delighted to announce that Rochelle Winn has joined the firm’s industry ranked Media and Entertainment team.
Rochelle brings extensive in-house media, music and entertainment law experience to Level. Before joining the firm, Rochelle headed up the legal and business affairs division for industry leader Eagle Rock Entertainment, the audio-visual arm of Universal Music Group. This role involved structuring and overseeing complex deals from production through to distribution and advising various stakeholders, financing parties and rights owners across all manner of audio-visual music programme content creation, acquisition and distribution. Rochelle has held leading positions in global businesses such as Match.com and Universal Music, where she managed a variety of fast-paced legal and business affairs. Rochelle also has broad commercial experience as In-House legal counsel for a global bank, where she advised on the restructuring of deals during the economic downturn and supported the Global Securities Solutions team.
More recently Rochelle has been providing specifically tailored legal consultancy within the music audio-visual space to corporations and industry leading directors and producers. Rochelle has adapted her practice to suit client needs throughout COVID-19, including in her work with director Paul Dugdale on the spectacular Glastonbury Live 2021 event – an award-nominated show which saw artists performing at iconic locations across the site. Rochelle has also worked on popular Netflix productions such as ‘ariana grande: excuse me, i love you’ and the Adele primetime special, ‘Adele One Night Only’.
