Level strengthens disputes and crisis capability with senior hire Karim Bouzidi
Level has welcomed Karim Bouzidi as a Partner, further strengthening its award winning disputes, regulatory and crisis management offering across the sports and creative industries.
Karim is a highly experienced litigator with over two decades of experience acting for prominent individuals, corporates and national not-for-profit organisations. Prior to joining Level, he was Head of Litigation at Clintons.
Clients rely on Karim to protect reputation, privacy, data, intellectual property, and contractual and statutory rights in complex, high-stakes matters. His experience spans proceedings in the High Court, arbitration and the Employment Tribunal, alongside a strong track record of resolving disputes strategically before they reach court.
Karim has particular expertise in complex shareholder and LLP disputes, senior executive exits, and sports regulation. He has represented clients before FA Regulatory Commissions and Appeals, and in arbitrations convened under Football Association and English Football League rules. He is a contributing author to Football and the Law.
Beyond contentious work, Karim advises on non-contentious commercial negotiations, including the licensing and transfer of commercial and image rights and professional sports contracts. He is a FIFA licensed and FA registered Football Agent and is frequently embedded with clients, advising on strategy and dispute avoidance.
Karim also brings deep crisis management experience, having led or formed part of multidisciplinary teams advising prominent individuals and national organisations during sensitive, fast-moving situations.
