Yvie recently qualified as a solicitor and started in her new role as a Junior Associate, having joined Level in 2022 as the Firm’s first trainee.
Yvie successfully completed the SQE route to qualification, having passed both the SQE1 and SQE2 over the course of her training contract. She also completed a highly rewarding 6-month secondment with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team.
Throughout her training contract, Yvie worked closely with Level’s sports, media, and entertainment lawyers. Her experience to date includes a wide range of commercial sports matters, across sponsorship agreements, talent endorsement, media rights, intellectual property, and rights protection and enforcement. As a Junior Associate, Yvie will continue to work across all areas of Level’s practice, with a particular focus on commercial sports law.
Prior to joining Level, Yvie gained a First-Class degree in History and American Studies at the University of Manchester, whilst also playing competitive hockey for both her University and Brooklands-Poynton Hockey Club. Following University, Yvie went on to complete the LLM Law and Legal Practice course at BPP University Bristol. As part of her law conversion, Yvie chose to write her master’s project on the topic of concussion and the duty of care owed to professional female athletes in contact sports.
